A new trailer for the horror-thriller Wrecker has been released and it looks like an all-female version of Road Kill/Joy Ride. I say all-female, but I’m unsure who is behind the wheel of the 8-wheel truck trying to mow the girls done. It would be great if it was a woman though, I’m sure you will agree.
Synopsis:
Best friends Emily and Lesley decide to take a road trip to get away from it all. When Email makes a decision to turn off the busy highway and on to a desert road all hell breaks loose. They soon find themselves the target of a mysterious tow truck that forces them into a dangerous game of cat and mouse, turning their road trip into a living, breathing nightmare.
The producers of American Mary are behind this one, although I’m positive that’s where the comparisons end. Micheal Bafaro is in the director’s chair and the film stars Anna Hutchison and Andrea Whitburn as the women in peril.
