This Halloween is bringing us an incredible amount of new indie horror films premiering. David Boorboor‘s A Place In Hell joins that list with it’s premiere on the weekend prior to Halloween on Sunday, October 25 during the Philadelphia Independent Film Festival, screening at 4 p.m. at the Levitt Theater (401 S. Broad Street).

This intriguing tale is based on a real life Philadelphia murderer and necrophiliac, Harrison Graham – To Learn More Please Visit HERE (trust us this story does not disappoint)

The story for the film is as follows:

Set on a Halloween fright farm in the New Jersey countryside, this psychological thriller follows Nicole Hart and a group of film students as they shoot a Horror movie for their final grade. Meanwhile, Detective John McInnis struggles to find redemption while consumed by his 5 year obsession to catch a notorious serial killer. When a winter storm blankets the countryside, and the killer seeks refuge, the students quickly realize they are not alone. While facing his inner demons, McInnis could be their only hope.

More exciting news Cufflink Productions and their featue A Place In Hell. They have also received world wide distribution. The same company behind the release of female centric slasherAmerican Mary, Industry Works Pictures, is bringing A Place In Hell to horror lovers across the world. For Canadian release, Anchor Bay Entertainment Canada, has jumped on. News on the specific dates will be released soon but they are expecting an early 2016 release.

A Place In Hell stars Lewis Smith (Django Unchained)  as Detective John McInnis, Atif Lanier (Cymbeline) as the murderous Harrison pictured above, and Brian Anthony Wilson (Limitless) as Detective Chris Wilson among many others. You can check out the newly released poster and trailer below.
